United States Capacity Building Workshop @ Halifax Convention Centre

Food & Beverage Atlantic, working jointly with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Nova Scotia Business Inc., Innovation PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador, an Opportunities New Brunswick, is seeking Atlantic Canadian companies to participate in United States Capacity Building Sessions in Halifax, NS. These sessions will feature presentations by subject matter experts on all things relating to export to US.

This project is being supported by the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Strategy, a partnership between the Government of Canada and the four Atlantic provincial governments. If your company is currently exporting or if you are considering exporting to US, this is a not-to-be-missed session on what you need to know about exporting to the US Market!

Our 4 day Craft Distilling workshop features distillers from Rig Hand Distillery sharing their expertise creating premium quality spirits.

About this Event

The Craft Distilling workshop will help companies expand their knowledge and expertise with various distilled products and techniques. Distillers from Rig Hand will be instructing the course including Geoff Stewart, President and Head Distiller. Rig Hand Distillery produces award-winning craft spirits, including Gin, Cream Liqueurs, and infused Vodkas.

This comprehensive course covers the basics of fermentation and distilling, craft production, classifications, infusions, filtering, licensing & regulations, safety, and master techniques. Participants will gain hands-on experience in the pilot plant— learning how to create and test unique, high quality distilled products.

The course fee includes all materials, breaks, lunches, hosted dinner, and tours.
