In this two-day interactive bootcamp hosted by Communitech Academy, you’ll deep-dive into the nuances of the sales cycle to fuel your growth in the fast-paced world of tech sales. You’ll learn that the perfect combination of the science, the art and the tools of sales is what drives success as a tech sales professional.

We’ll cover:

  • The value proposition
  • Best practices in making first contact
  • Structuring your first meeting
  • Understanding your prospects’ needs through their eyes
  • Handling objections
  • Closing techniques
  • Effective communications

You’ll leave better equipped to connect with your customers and successfully lead them through the full sales cycle.

Rod has over 25 years experience in the technology industry. He thrives in developing and executing in high growth environments. As CEO & President of Covarity he lead the growth of the business for 7+ years throughout North America with the sale of the business in Q2 2012 . He previously held senior level positions in software sales, marketing, channels, product management and operations with Ironside Technologies in San Francisco, Bay Networks, Crowntek, and GE Canada. Rod holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Rod was on the Board of Governors of the Grand River Hospital Foundation – 6 years- the BBB – 5 years- and was a member of the Accelerator Centre Advisory Council for start up companies
