Show Me the Money
How to Lose the Least from Inflation
Every small business knows that every dollar counts. The lesson? Be careful where you put it. It’s a matter of survival, and as inflation compounds this sometimes-losing battle, small businesses are in need of a lifeline.
Our presenting members will introduce a discussion on how to lose the least amount of time, energy, and resources from inflation by maximizing your cash flow, reducing your accounts receivable, and executing proactive legal strategies. A Q&A session will follow, allowing you to pose anything to your panellist of choice.
Topics
Cash Flows Everything Around Me
by Michael Fitzpatrick
Trying to perfect and maximize your allocation of limited cash is too often an obstacle besetting small businesses, especially in this time of inflation. Learn to effectively manage your cash flow and avoid shortages that could hinder day-to-day operations or growth initiatives. Master budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense management and stay ahead of the curve.
Show Me the Money
by Krista Walsh
Timely and consistent cash flow is vital for small businesses, and a major component of that is managing accounts receivable. Learn to optimize your invoicing processes, encourage prompt payments, and handle late payments to maintain a healthy cash flow and reduce the risk of unpaid invoices affecting your financial stability amid periods of high inflation.
The Right to Know
by Scott Barry
Small businesses are vulnerable to unique legal challenges, ranging from contract disputes to intellectual property issues. Understanding legal rights and responsibilities, along with how to navigate potential conflicts, can help your small business protect its interests and minimize the financial and operational impact of legal disputes. Proactive legal strategies can safeguard assets, reputation, and overall business continuity.
