The goal of the LaunchPad program is to improve new business success rates by offsetting operating costs of business and providing ongoing business counseling, as required. The office space component of the program may be based in the Holman Centre in Summerside and the Atlantic Technology Centre in Charlottetown but is not limited to these locations.
Eligible applicants must demonstrate potential to create new jobs and wealth in the Province of Prince Edward Island. Other eligibility criteria may apply.
Innovation PEI works in collaboration with Finance PEI, traditional financial institutions and other government agencies to identify available financial tools to help you start up, expand and enhance your business.
Finance PEI works with innovative and generally higher risk projects than that of the conventional lenders. By utilizing a non-formula approach to lending, Finance PEI strives to maximize development opportunities for the province while balancing financial risk of the project with the projected economic return.
